Hiring Process

   In Malaysia, Jobstreet (SEEK) is a popular platform for candidates looking for jobs. We advertised our very first job ads on Jobstreet (SEEK). The process was easy. We registered online on their platform then a person in charge (PIC) was assigned to us. The PIC contacted us and guided us on the next step. Their pricing was per job ad basis. The pricing varied by the ad advertising duration and ad types. 

   Upon successful listing of our job ad, we received many applications. This is my first-hand experience on hiring. I found the hiring process interesting since I get opportunities to deal with new people with different backgrounds every day. Our hiring process took a month from screening to interviewing the shortlisted candidates. Finally, we selected the right candidate for our open position. I arranged an interview session between the candidate and the managing director. The interview went successfully. In the future, we hope to expand our recruitment process by posting on multiple platforms so more candidates can have the opportunity to apply.
