Implementing Bookkeeping & Payroll System

As a startup, it's common to manage bookkeeping and payroll manually by using spreadsheets. Currently, our team is small and expected to grow whereby HR, Accounting & other ad hoc work will be done by myself as General Manager. Therefore, I will be bound by various tasks and I understand the importance of implementing an accounting and payroll software system in our company. Doing so, the systems can simplify many processes and will reduce my workload hence I can focus my time and energy on other areas such as talent search.

Based on my previous work experience in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) & Multinational Companies (MNCs), I have seen how software systems streamline the organizations operations and save time. Therefore, from my experience, I have implemented accounting and payroll systems for management operations. After analyzing the various software on the market, I decided to integrate SQL Accounting & SQL Payroll software into our company operation. Overall process took about a month for us and the installation and training of the system were done in a day at our office. Additionally, the SQL Payroll system is certified by Malaysian statutory bodies for tax calculations. To make HR work easier, it also comes with auto payroll processing and batch emailing which sends pay slips to the employee's email address automatically, which saves me from manually sending in an email client one by one.
