Windows To Linux

We have migrated from the Windows server to the Ubuntu server. We had a 3rd party Windows VPS server on a bi-annual subscription. Our in-house SaaS product (under active development) of a multi-tenant storefront required us to look for an alternative hosting server with higher specs on better pricing. Upon some research, we found many 3rd party VPS service providers had better offerings for Linux VPS hosting compared to Windows VPS with the same hardware and network specs. The price of a Linux VPS is significantly lower compared to a Windows VPS of similar specs.

 Our next step is to migrate all our hosted applications from the Windows platform to the Linux platform.
